Ogdoda Enterprises Inc. the company that operates Granda House Family Restaurant in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan collects, uses and discloses personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) about our customers in order to provide automated and centralized order processing and delivery dispatch solutions so that we, along with our franchisees, can deliver exceptional service to our customers. We also use Personal Information to inform customers about our products and services, including providing special offers and incentives.

This privacy policy (this “Privacy Policy”) explains our practices regarding the handling of Personal Information. When you order food from us, participate in one of our contests, join one of our loyalty programs, visit one of our websites or otherwise engage or do business with us, you consent to having your Personal Information handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

What is Personal Information?

Personal Information is any information that identifies you as an individual, such as your name, address, telephone number and other information, such as order history, that may be tied to your identity.

Personal Information does not include information respecting a business organization, or the name, title or business address or telephone number of an employee of an organization.

Personal Information does not include aggregated or anonymized information that does not identify you as an individual.

What Personal Information do we collect?

Information collected from Customers

Typically, when a customer contacts us, either by telephone or through our website, we collect certain Personal Information, including the customer’s name, address, phone numbers, credit card number (if that is how they choose to pay), email address (if the customer orders through our site), and any comments that a customer may provide to us. We also record the customer’s order, and over time, develop and retain an order history for returning customers.

You hereby consent to the collection and use of your Personal Information (including delivery address, email, and past order history) for the following purposes:

●      to fulfill orders;

●      to anticipate order preferences when you contact us again;

●      to evaluate and respond to requests, inquiries and applications;

●      to comply with and enforce applicable legal requirements or audit requirements; and

●      to provide you with requested services.

If you tell us that you do not wish us to keep your Personal Information, we will destroy it, subject to retention through our automatic backup procedures and in connection with applicable record retention requirements. At present, our systems cannot track these types of requests beyond destruction of Personal Information. As such, if you order from us again, we will collect your Personal Information upon submission of the new order and it will not be automatically destroyed unless you “OPT OUT” when placing each new order. Refer to the section below entitled “How can I access and update my Personal Information?” for instructions on how to notify us of your preferences. In that case, you will need to provide Personal Information each time that you contact us to place an order.

Unless you otherwise notify us, and as permitted by law, you hereby consent to the use of your Personal Information for marketing purposes, such as to contact you (whether by email, telephone, direct mail, or another medium of communication) about:

●      promotions or contests;

●      new products or product promotions;

●      special offers;

●      asking for feedback on new products;

●      asking for feedback on your dining experience and our customer service; and

●      responding to your comments or concerns.

We may disclose your Personal Information to parties to a prospective or completed business transaction, such as a reorganization or an acquisition of our business, for the limited purpose of assessing or completing such a transaction.

We may also use and disclose your Personal Information as may be required or permitted by law.

We will not collect, use or disclose your Personal Information for any other purpose without notifying you and obtaining your additional consent.

How do we safeguard Personal Information?

We retain Personal Information for only so long as we have a legal or reasonable business reason to retain it. Except where prohibited by law, when Personal Information is no longer required for the purposes for which it has been collected, such Personal Information will be destroyed, subject to retention in accordance with our automatic backup procedures and in connection with applicable record retention requirements.

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed and intended to protect your Personal Information against accidental, unlawful, or unauthorized destruction, loss, alteration, access, disclosure or use. Personal information collected by us, whether in electronic form or paper form, is protected by security measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. 

We evaluate our equipment and security procedures regularly and modify them as necessary. Despite these safeguards, due to inherent uncertainty in the use of the Internet and information systems and the potential for unlawful attacks by third parties, we cannot guarantee that the use of our systems, websites, or applications will be completely safe or secure. 

Personal Information is stored within Canada. As such, Personal Information may be accessed by Canadian governmental authorities.

How can I access and update my Personal Information?

We make efforts to ensure that the Personal Information we use and keep is accurate, complete and up-to-date; however, we necessarily rely on our customers to provide us with accurate and current information. All requests will be dealt with within 30 days of receipt of your call.
